In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect the databases as well as possible from outside access, data loss, misuse or falsification.

Data collection

The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator, ACTRIS-CH. You can find their contact details in the imprint of this website.

Your data is collected on the one hand by the fact that you may communicate it to us. For example, this can be data that you enter in an email when contacting us. Other data is automatically recorded by our IT systems when you visit the website. Specifically, when you visit our websites, anonymized information concerning access (data, time, page accessed) may be stored on the server. Log files store details such as browser types used, operating systems, the webpage from which you were forwarded to our websites, an IP address and other similar data (see further details below). This data serves technical analysis in the case of maintenance work as well as defence against threats in the event of attacks on our systems. We do not make any inferences regarding the data subject when using this data. This data is used for statistical purposes and to protect data security.

This usage data also forms the basis for statistical, impersonal evaluations for the purpose of tracking trends so that ACTRIS-CH can improve the information on offer. In accordance with the Federal Act on Postal and Telecommunications Surveillance (BÜPF), there is a statutory retention requirement for marginal data from the past six months.

Server log files:

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • Referrer URL (=previously visited page)
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request
  • IP address
  • Name of the retrieved page/file
  • amount of data transferred

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently check the log data if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete indications.

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Statistics

We will analyze the Server Log files from time to time to get basic usage data for our website. There are no cookies or other persistent markers used, that allow identification of a user over time. Legal basis: Legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR).

Data protection and SSL encryption

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.

By using our website, you provide us with a certain amount of information about yourself, some of which may identify you (“Personal Information”). This is the case when you browse our site or when you fill in online forms.

Revocation of your consent to data processing:
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent that you have already given at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing that took place up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority:
In the event of violations of data protection law, the person concerned has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the data protection officer of the country or canton in which our company is based.

Right to data portability:
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another person responsible, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

SSL encryption:
Our websites use SSL encryption to transmit confidential or personal content concerning our users. For example, this encryption is activated for queries sent to us by you via our websites. Please ensure that the encryption is activated for corresponding activities by you. Use of the encryption can be recognised as follows: The address displayed in your browser line switches from “http://” to “https://”. The data encrypted via SSL cannot be read by third parties. Only send your confidential information when SSL encryption is activated. If in any doubt, get in touch with us.

Information, blocking, deletion:
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data at any time. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint if you have any further questions on the subject of personal data.

Operation of the web solution by third parties (hosting):
We have entrusted cyon.ch (Switzerland) with the provision and technical support of our platform (web server operation, hosting). Insofar as data is transmitted, stored and processed, this is done according to the instructions of the platform operator and within the framework of order processing in accordance with the GDPR/DSGVO. The servers used for operation are located in Switzerland.

Security

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

If data is transmitted to ACTRIS-CH (for example using a contact form provided), it is not possible to guarantee confidential or reliable data transfer. In addition, ACTRIS-CH will likewise normally respond to such contact electronically, in which case the confidentiality and integrity of the data transmitted again cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, no data that is sensitive in terms of confidentiality, availability or integrity should be transmitted in this way.
