CzechGlobe visits ACTRIS Switzerland for an ATMO-ACCESS Trans-National Access (TNA) training workshop

A delegation of four scientists from CzechGlobe visited ACTRIS Switzerland for a training and exchange workshop this week. Empa and PSI provided the delegation insights into their various activities ranging from the long term observations of trace gases and aerosols to current developments in laser based measurements of trace gases and polarimetric light scattering of aerosols. Highlights of the workshop were the visits to calibration facilities at Empa related to ACTRIS and ICOS, the NABEL measurement site Zürich Kasernenwiese, and the Jungfraujoch combined ACTRIS and ICOS site, where the previously discussed topics and measurements could be experienced live and in action. ACTRIS Switzerland thanks the delegation for the lively discussion and interest and further acknowledges the High Altitude Research Stations Jungfraujoch and Gornergrat for hosting the delegation at Jungfraujoch.
